Infographic Fun: Encanto and Intergenerational Trauma

I recently started taking an infographic course to enhance my desktop publishing services and decided to blog some of my better attempts. The first thing I learned is that it’s better to create an infographic from an article rather then creating one from scratch. I had a lot of good ideas related to discrimination and representation, but no tangible data or brilliant ideas to depict these issues.

My nieces are currently obsessed about Encanto, and I’ve been fascinated by the intergenerational trauma aspect, so here it is. An article from Newport Academy explored intergenerational trauma, the seven inner child archetypes, and talking about Bruno. This infographic depicts the seven inner child archetypes discussed and a character example, though I have to say: I’m not sure about Nos. 3 and 7. I had to guess for those, and some characters could fit more than one archetype.
